About Extracurricular

Destrehan High School offers a comprehensive education and is focused on preparing students to become responsible, productive citizens. Destrehan is not only a school of superior academic and athletic achievement, but is also a center for the enrichment of the extracurricular interests of its students. We encourage every student to be involved in some manner to enrich their high school experience.

There is a wide variety of activities and clubs for any student to find their place within the nurturing environment at Destrehan. Each club and activity takes part in helping the environment and community that surrounds and supports us.
