Mr. Kurt Menyweather

I have been in education for more than thirty years, starting here in St. Charles Parish Public Schools at Hahnville High School. Since moving to Destrehan High School, I’ve served as a Technology Education Instructor, Department Head for Career and Technical Education, and, in my present duty, as the Administrative Monitor.

As Administrative Monitor, I am in charge of freshmen discipline, textbooks, and instructional materials. I am also responsible for parking at Destrehan High, including the issuing of student parking permits and serving as transportation liaison. I support the cafeteria staff and directly supervise all lunch monitors. In addition, I work with other administrators and school personnel, addressing various discipline for various grade levels, including dress codes and tardy infractions.
