Welcome to another exciting year at Destrehan High School!
It is an incredible honor to serve as the principal of a school so deeply rooted in tradition, pride, and excellence. As a proud member of the Class of 1994 and a lifelong part of this community, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a school that has meant so much to me and to generations of Fighting Wildcats.
Our theme for this school year is: Make Today Count.
Those three words represent more than a slogan; they are a challenge to each of us. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, serve, and lead. Every choice matters. Every moment is an opportunity to challenge yourself, make a difference, and move one step closer to your goals. Today's actions shape tomorrow's opportunities.
At Destrehan High School, we remain committed to providing a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous environment where every student has the tools, guidance, and opportunities to succeed. Whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, on the stage, or through service to our community, we strive to ensure every Fighting Wildcat is prepared for success in college, career, and life.

Together, we will continue to foster a culture of high expectations, accountability, respect, and belonging, where every student is challenged to reach their full potential and every individual knows they belong and are valued.
As we begin this school year, I encourage every member of our Fighting Wildcat family to approach each day with purpose. Be present. Work hard. Support one another. Lead with integrity. Celebrate successes, learn from challenges, and never lose sight of the impact your daily choices have on your future and those around you.
